QUINCY Boston Terrier

'There's no such thing as a bad dog, just a bad owner' - is a saying I've always believed in,
and when we asked Elke for help with our dogs she was able to give us the 'tools' to be both
a good owner and a confident and responsible master to our dog. Above all, my dogs are my
best friends, but I am now able to communicate with them in a manner they understand. Loving
my dogs as I do, I am obviously biased. But I do believe that they are a shining testament to
Elke's quality training and the lessons she taught me, as well as my dogs.

PEPPER Jack Russell terrier mix

It's been brilliant - we've had no more wees since your visit and are doing fantastic and have
benefited enormously from your visit. You're a professional and know what you're talking about.

PENNY LANE Shih-Tzu

Our problems with Penny were numerous. She had obedience issues, separation anxiety and
would do her business wherever she pleased in the house. Seeing Elke was our last resort. She
taught us some basic techniques which allowed us to change our behaviour, which in turn changed
Penny's. We are all much happier now!
SAXON GSD

We followed your advice and are now doing really well - it's all thanks to you and we are very
grateful for all your help.

ZIGGY Labradoodle

Elke is a leader in her field who gives a first-rate service not only training dogs but also their owners.
She has been amazing with Ziggy and we now have a very sociable and obedient dog. We would be lost without her.

DAISY Golden Retriever

I was an exceptionally naughty teenager; I was disobedient, malicious and bit every member of my
family until the two-legged creatures I live with decided to contact Ms. Clemetson. At first I was
fiercely opposed to the idea, but being trained by her turned out to be a lot of fun! At no point did I
WOLFIE Staffie/Border Terrier mix

We have been following your advice and Wolfie is coming along really well. We've got lots of
improvement on the aggressive front and she's doing well at home too. We can't thank you enough -
you've made all the difference. If it weren't for you, my partner would have given up.

feel pressurised into doing anything, on the contrary, I was eager to please. And Elke said that I
was extremely intelligent (wasn't that obvious!?) and that I needed a lot of mental stimulation and
much, much more discipline. The two-legged creatures were trained as well (serves them right!)
and now they understand me much better. And I hear them say that calling in Elke had been the
best thing they did. That lady really understands us, dogs, and I finally understood that I didn't
have to bite my leaders!.

SULTAN - Anatolian Shepherd dog

Sultan's aggressive behaviour towards dogs and then us was getting so serious that
we contemplated parting with him. We were advised to contact Elke and after her
visit followed her instructions and within days noticed a big difference but knew that
we had lots more work to do. We followed Elke's advice through and now have a changed
dog who we can enjoy and love again. Thanks, Elke!

ZAIRE Groenendael

Elke walked our belgian shepherd, Zaire, every weekday, keeping her mentally stimulated
and physically fit. Our vet was always impressed with Zaire's 'athlete's heart'! We think
that it's all due to Elke that Zaire lived to the grand old age of 17 in such top condition -
thanks, Elke!

JESSIE Lurcher

I adopted Jessie, a six-year old lurcher in 1996 from a rescue organisation who recommended
Elke as an experienced dogwalker as I was at work during the day. I accompanied her on a
walk with her pack and was impressed how well she kept the dogs under control, keeping an
eagle eye out for their safety but also considering
other dog walkers. The dogs had fun, running and playing but also being mentally stimulated. We were out for hours - another important factor for me as I don't believe an hour's mooching around a park is enough to meet the physical and social needs of a dog. My hound joined the pack for the nine years I had her.

Jessie at first had quite some challenging behaviour issues and having a behaviourist as a dogwalker
was a real boon and the problems were eventually resolved under Elke's guidance. She would board Jessie during holidays and it was wonderful going away in the knowledge that she was in capable hands and was always returned to me smelling sweetly, beautifully groomed with neatly trimmed nails. I was never charged any extras for this, neither for the hours of telephone advice, which included nursing me and Jessie through her various illnesses, including correctly identifying a rare and serious disease which the vets failed to diagnose.

She was there for me and my dog to the very end and I can comfort myself with the memories of
the wonderful life I was able to give my beloved hound - which was in large part due to the support
of this utterly dedicated woman.

I have known Ms. Clemetson for over 20 years. She was a regular client at my London surgery and I
have first hand knowledge of her dog expertise with the pack dogs and my clients' dogs on a training
and behaviour basis. She is an experienced dog handler, knowledgeable, well informed and competent.
She is honest and completely trustworthy. Over the past 15 years she has studied canine behaviour
extensively to gain relevant qualifications and I would be confident to refer any cases of problem dogs
to her in the knowledge that she is more than capable of giving sound advice.

Elke Clemetson of HAPPY DOGS has been known to me in my capacity as a Dog Warden for the
London Borough of Croydon for 15 years. I have met her personally on many occasions throughout
that time in Croydon Borough observing her training and exercising a pack of dogs. I have always
been impressed by her dog handling expertise in controlling a very diverse group of dogs. She is
highly skilled and experienced with a track record of many years of professional experience. She is
a familiar figure around South London and I would trust her integrity without question.
